Multiple Cameras
PC Patrol offers you the versatility of simultaneously using TWO Cameras! Up to 30 frames per second from each. Your system will receive video input from ANY camera that can be connected to your PC through a video capture card. The majority of cameras available, whether they be wired cameras or remote (RF) surveillance cameras, can be simply connected to a video capture card.

A less expensive option is a USB or parallel port PC camera that you would typically only use for videoconferencing. With no video capture card needed, it is a simple and inexpensive way to give PC Patrol its "eyes".

Live Video Windows on your desktop!
The ability to be informed about what is happening around you is of great importance. Whether you are a manager knowing what your staff are up to or checking on a security area; a business owner surveying your store; or a parent watching over your kids as you work or checking to see who is at your door; being able to view Live Desktop Windows as you work is invaluable. What a blessing for all of you telecommuters out there!

Capture Video or Snapshots!
As a Surveillance system, PC Patrol's ability to record video or snapshots to the hard drive is worth gold! When a PC Patrol sensor is tripped in any event, your camera(s) record just as you have asked them to. Have proof of a burglar entering your home or a snoop entering your office. See video of your babysitter or maid being where they should not be! Later playback of any event is effortless.

Duration of recording and frames/second rate are easily set so that the size of the video file is never a problem. You are able to record anything from real time video at up to 30 frames/second, to just a snapshot.

You can even tell the camera to wait for a set number of seconds after a sensor is tripped, before beginning the video capture.
